You probably have heard about my love for the music of The Magic Lantern, the musical moniker of UK based musician Jamie Doe. So you can imagine my excitement when he reached out to do some shows together in Australia. His latest album ‘A Reckoning Bell’ has been on high rotation in my life and I recommend it to you also! Our first show together will be at Peppermint Grove Studios – my home studio – on Dec 4th with Little Clouds and tickets are limited to 40, so get in quick. This is also a chance for you to see our studio and explore my garden (that seems to be more well known than my music on the socials haha).
For those who are fans of my Slow Streams – I have the launch of my next volume on Tuesday November 22nd at Jetsets in Tempe along with Nick’s 50 Cycles launch of a track called Bliss. Tickets are available on the door and said door is at Tempe Jets, Holbeach Av.
For those wanting to see a solo set of my songs, head to Lazybones Lounge Marrickville on November 27th where I’ll be joining friends The Emerald Ruby, Keyna Wilkins and Sarah Cherlin.
For those Magic Lantern fans, we’ll be doing more shows together on 16th Dec in Rocky River Anaiwan Country, 18th Dec in Bellingen Gumbaynggirr Country, 14th Jan in Newcastle Awabakal Country and 15th in Canberra Ngunnawal Country.
